The Anugraha Project began in late 2021 as a personal mission to honor the memory of my older brother, who passed away that year. At just 15 years old, I set out with the goal of providing free, nutritious meals to low-income residents across Bangalore. Alongside friends and family, we visited different neighborhoods, distributing packaged meals to those in need. Before long, we formed a partnership with Namma Kudla, a restaurant in Malleshwaram, where the owner generously provided meals at a significantly reduced price. Over the span of three months, we consistently supported a community in KSR Nagar, distributing over 4,000 meals.
While this initiative was rewarding, it became clear that a more sustainable, long-term impact was needed. We decided to pause food distribution and focus on building a deeper connection with communities. After completing the necessary legal steps, the Anugraha Project was officially registered as an NGO. The name Anugraha—meaning kindness, graciousness, and the act of furthering good—captures the heart of our mission.
As our team expanded, we identified a community in North-West Bangalore where we could make the greatest impact. Over the past two years, we’ve made significant progress, categorizing our efforts into various key initiatives to address different needs effectively. Though there’s still much work ahead, I’m proud of the meaningful strides we’ve made toward creating lasting change.

Vision
We are creating a collaborative platform that bridges the gap between NGOs, corporations, community leaders, students, and individuals to foster meaningful, long-term connections. Our goal is to unite diverse groups around a shared mission: empowering underserved communities in Bangalore. By building these partnerships, we can pool resources, ideas, and expertise to implement sustainable programs that address the root causes of inequality and provide lasting solutions.
Our vision is to move beyond short-term relief efforts and focus on building self-sustaining communities where individuals are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive. From educational initiatives and health programs to environmental sustainability and economic development, we aim to create comprehensive support systems that uplift entire neighborhoods.
Through collaboration, we believe we can transform not just the physical well-being of these communities, but also their social, economic, and environmental landscapes. Together, we strive to create a model of empowerment that can be replicated across other cities, setting a new standard for community-driven change.
