One community at a time
The Anugraha Project is a student-run NGO (not-for-profit, non-governmental organization) aimed at making a positive impact on the underprivileged communities in Bangalore. Our group of high-school students has undertaken various initiatives related to healthcare, sanitation, education, and community development. In turn, each of these initiatives are being worked on by smaller teams comprising a few students each. By partnering with like-minded non-profit organizations, academic institutions, governmental bodies, and individuals, we have successfully implemented positive transformations.

Healthcare
Promoting healthcare is essential to improving the quality of life and reducing health disparities amongst the underprivileged sections of society. We play a crucial role in providing access to healthcare services and creating awareness about preventive healthcare practices.

Sanitation among the underprivileged is crucial to preventing the spread of infections and diseases and improving their living conditions. We play a pivotal role in building toilets, promoting clean drinking water, cleaning up of surrounding areas – clearing debris, landfills and commonly found, deadly weed like parthenium that has long-term adverse effects on health, and organizing awareness campaigns on hygiene practices.

Embark on a journey of enrichment within our dynamic community. From Manya’s storytelling sessions to bouldering outings and artistic expression, our initiatives provide diverse growth opportunities. Children explore cricket, painting and drawing, while women engage in holistic development through tailoring, and cosmetology courses. Join us in championing this transformative journey where every moment nurtures learning and growth. We also invite individuals to contribute their skills to our community, enriching lives and fostering lasting impact.
